Molnupiravir as Treatment for Covid 19 Infection

A glimmer of hope in this era of Covid 19 pandemic.Finally we now have data on an investigational antiviral pill Molnupiravir that has been shown to significantly reduce the chances that patients newly diagnosed with Covid-19 would be hospitalized by about 50%.A five-day course of this new oral pill is shown to reduce both hospitalization and death compared to a placebo with good safety profile.This pill will surely help mitigate the risk of infection for all of us on top of Covid 19 vaccination and other health safety protocols.
