My doctor put me on Byetta and admitedly the first few weeks were rough. I had severe nausea which lasted for about 2 hours after the injection, although over time the nausea completely went away.

Byetta worked really well for me for weight loss. I lost 20 lbs that I have been fighting (without success) for several years. it was like a miracle in that the weight just melted off.

the problem is that after a yea, r the Byetta stopped working and now the weight is back. Have you heard from other people that Byetta stops working and do you have any suggestions as to what a good follow – up med may be or how to restore sensitivity to Byetta?

Do you know where I may purchase it at its most favorable price? or is there a substitute for it? I have lost relatively 20lbs to this day. I just could not afford it to sustain using it. My doctor described me being mobidly obese I am at 350 lbs now 5’4 in height. Please reply.=)
